Atlassian Overview
The creators of Trello & Jira, Atlassian is an agile tool for assisting the development, planning & delivery of software projects. Breaking down their various featured tools into constituent ingredients, we can see that:
• Jira helps to plan, track, release & report on projects. It integrates with various existing workflows to promote continuous improvement in the Bitbucket plus knowledge management using Confluence backlog. With unlimited storage, almost continuous SLA uptime, IP allowlisting, project archiving & admin insights, security is tight.
• Streamline with automated roadmaps & commercial grade security protocol plus governance, including API, SAML, audit logs, active directory sync & user provisioning ensures maintenance of data integrity. Unified user policy helps to substantiate & enforce this, along with enhanced compliance controls plus user lifecycle management
• Generic privacy shields, data encryption & security compliance certifications gives you the confidence to build your projects securely here
• Live visibility & customer optimised outlooks with Jira Align to achieve unity across teams, throughout the project tenure
• Confluence document collaboration allows open conversation for exchange of ideas
• Values & principles of retrospective accountability, decision making frameworks, role cum responsibility delegation & objective plus key results disciplines the work ethic
With such a tight focus on security, meticulous workflows & organisation, there’s much to gain by deploying Atlassian. They host several platforms, including Opsgenie & Statuspage for incident cum communication management, Jira Care & Service Desk for management, Sourcetree, Bamboo & Crowd for all your client integration needs. The only issue with this conglomerate is the Jira mobile app is perceived as being complex to use with its integration plus interface. Furthermore, reports aren’t reusable & have upload size restrictions. Apart from this, Atlassian remains an undisputed leader & powerhouse for agile development.

Disappointing Experience with Atlassian
I recently tried the Atlassian platform for project management, and I was quite disappointed with the experience. The platform is quite complicated, and it took me a long time to understand how to use it. The user interface is not very user-friendly, and the features are not intuitive. I found it difficult to keep track of tasks and to collaborate with my team. The customer service was also not very helpful. Overall, I would not recommend Atlassian to anyone looking for a project management tool.
