Unfortunately, there are some issues, including incompatibility with MAC environments, restrictive freestyle drawing (warranting fixed object placement instead of real sketching) & limited functionality on their free version. Apart from the former & latter concerns (presuming that you’re not a MAC user), the operability does cast doubt over XMind’s flexibility & versatility to deliver results in what should be an open as well as unlimited platform. For this reason, it’s probably best to explore other options prior to arriving at any conclusion.
