Acronis True Image Overview
Acronis is backup software, designed at protecting valuable data from privacy attacks & hacks. Maintaining integrity, as well as providing restoration avenues, in case of an untoward or compromising incident is what Acronis also offers. Let’s have a brief overview of what exactly they do & how they can implement these protective strategies:
- Utilising their ‘any data’ engine, data from virtually any sourced location can be protected, accessed, backed up & stored elsewhere
- Active protection continually monitors & safeguards your data against attacks
- Using blockchain technology, backups can be securely authenticated to verify the intended accessor, via a ‘notary’Â
- Cloud-based database security protocol to ensure seamless access & export for the user, wherever they may be
Acronis evidently takes its user’s data seriously, which is wonderful. However, how easy & practical is using this software in practice? Let’s review what real users have experienced:
- Apparently, Acronis runs maintenance schedules at least twice a year. Although users are notified in advance, this does interfere with data backup at the time
- If using as a reseller, it can work out to be financially straining & limiting
- Certain users feel that the updates are released too often
- It can be slow to operate at times & the web interface functionality can create issues
Therefore, if you take your data integrity seriously, then Acronis is certainly worth considering. It hosts some very potent tools for protecting your data assets, which is welcoming. The main issues surround ease of use in certain situations, expense & long-term viability (in terms of maintenance as well as use).

A Helpful Data Locker
Despite the cons that described earlier, this software is the first choice among many names when it comes to data saving matters. And so far it\'s very helpful when dealing with many machines that needs similar installation process. Just clone the best working disk to many others, and the time consuming works just disappear
Pro
Easy and fast process to make entire drive backup and cloning media.
Cons
It needs longer time to do bigger media backup and/or cloning.

Not Impressed with Acronis True Image
I recently purchased Acronis True Image, expecting it to be a great solution for my backup needs. Unfortunately, the software was not very intuitive and I found it difficult to navigate. The backup process was slow and unreliable, and the lack of customer support was a huge disappointment. I was hoping for more features, but the ones that were available were not very useful. Overall, I'm not very impressed with Acronis True Image.
