Webinar.net Overview
The exciting prospect of a new & contemporary player in the online meeting space has finally (& thankfully) arrived. It’s known as webinar.net. Let’s take a look at their exciting prospects:
• Modernised interface to ensure full compatibility across all devices & systems, as well as aesthetically pleasing and vivid graphics. All of this integrated into a fast platform
• No need to download any software: fully online & browser based with its light framework
• Plenty of options, including copying/importing previous meeting data & settings to ensure convenience as well as efficiency
• Entirely customisable & organised folder options to easy track plus store content
• Automated streaming system to ensure a match between the host & participant system
• Utilises the latest technology & coding to deliver seamless and fidelity broadcasts
• Unique features, such as downloadable shared resources during meetings
• Email editor & integrated Outlook plus Google calendars to maximise productivity
• Fully customisable: be it the colour themes, backgrounds…almost anything: design yourself & make it your own!
Wow, now that’s a lot to digest – but could there possibly be any disadvantages? None appear to be obvious from the outset, however this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any. Depending on individual user preference, it may be argued that promoting so much choice & flexibility can become somewhat overwhelming for some. Having said that, there’s something that will definitely put many off from using webinar.net: the massive starting monthly price tag of $329. Yes, you read correctly – no kidding. Furthermore, as they don’t offer any free package (apart from a limited trial period), is this cost really substantiated? It’s certainly way above in another price bracket altogether, compared to its competitors.

It is a powerful, easy-to-use online presentation platform with polished user interfaces.
From the time I filled out a contact form on their website to demo, free trial, on-boarding and on-going support, these guys have been incredibly easy to work with.

Not a reliable service
I recently used Webinar.net for a virtual conference and I was disappointed with the service. The platform was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to follow the presentations. The audio quality was also poor and the customer service was unhelpful. The features offered were limited and the pricing was too expensive for what it offered. Overall, I would not recommend this service to anyone looking for a reliable virtual conference platform. Name: Sadie, Rating: 3
